Une massue vient de tomber sur l’opposition gabonaise avec la sortie de Massavala Maboumba, ancien porte-parole de la Coalition pour la nouvelle République (CNR), qui a vendredi dernier, annoncé repartir à « la maison du père », le PDG, Parti Démocratique Gabonais.
Après avoir passé 4 années dans les rangs de l’opposition, Frédéric Massavala Maboumba du haut de ses 59, a claqué la porte, pour rejoindre le parti au pouvoir : « Je déclare ce jour 21 mai 2021 que je réintègre le Parti démocratique gabonais (PDG). Avec moi, l’ensemble des cadres qui m’ont fait confiance depuis de longues années », a t-il déclaré le 21 mai dernier.
Après la sortie de René Ndemezo’o, c’est comme une sorte d’avalanche de démission qui pourrait fragiliser l’opposition gabonaise à deux ans des élections présidentielles de 2023. Si Frédéric Massavala Maboumba a justement dit ne pas obéir à l’appel de RNO, l’intervalle de temps et les circonstances peuvent faire penser le contraire.
Ce sont donc deux proches collaborateurs de Jean Ping que sont René Ndemezo’o Obiang, ancien Directeur de campagne et Frédéric Massavala Maboumba, ex porte parole de la Coalition pour la nouvelle république CNR qui viennent ainsi de se détacher de lui et presqu’au même moment, c’est-à dire en l’espace d’un mois.
Les raisons de la démission de Frédéric Massavala Maboumba n’ont pas clairement été expliquées au public ; c’est à croire que le PDG aux commandes depuis 53 ans seul, a le secret.
