La Concertation Politique en vue des élections apaisées en 2023 n’a pas démarré le lundi 14 février comme prévu faute de consensus au sein de l’opposition gabonaise. Après de longues heures d’attente, le ministre de l’intérieur Lambert Noël Matha a donné de nouvelles orientations, invitant les partis de l’opposition à désigner dans un délais de moins de 24 heures, leurs représentants: ce qu’en dit Laurent Angue Mezui le Président du RPG (Rassemblement pour le Gabon).
» Le ministre disait qu’il fallait partir sur la base des groupements des partis politiques, qui à ce qu’à l’intérieur de chaque groupement, qu’on fasse des aménagements. Donc nous allons nous retrouver au sein du Rassemblement pour le Gabon pour qu’ensemble, nous nous accordions.
Je voudrais dire que l’opposition est une opposition responsable. On est pas parti sur des bases et des critères de désignation des membres et nous pensons que le fait que la concertation n’ait pas commencé aujourd’hui ( le 14 février 2023) doit nous rappeler que nous devons nous accorder sur des bases assez objectives pour qu’enfin la concertation puisse commencer.
Mais pour le moment, je ne voudrais pas montrer du doigt qui que ce soit , toutefois tous ensemble, nous devrions nous retrouver demain (15 février 2023), chaque groupement avec des propositions et nous allons analyser ces propositions qui seront donc mises sur la table, et à partir de cet moment là au sein du RPG certainement, les membres de l’opposition vont s’accorder » , a expliqué Laurent Angue Mezui le Président du RPG.
Aux dernières nouvelles, la liste des 40 membres de l’opposition serait prête pour les travaux sensés se faire à l’immeuble inter ministériel de Libreville.
