Composé à plus de 60 % de l’électorat de la province du Woleu-Ntem, à en croire les différents intervenants, la commune d’Oyem doit assurer un résultat favorable comme elle l’a toujours fait par le passé à la candidature du président Ali Bongo Ondimba. « Nous devons taire nos égos pour parler d’une seule voix afin de permettre au président de la République de ratisser large dans la commune d’Oyem »,a soutenu pour sa part, la doyenne Rose Allogho Mengara.
Et cela devrait être effectif en allant tous se faire enrôler et s’inscrire sur les listes électorales, dont l’opération devrait débuter sur l’étendue du territoire national. « Il était question aujourd’hui pour nous, le député Jean-Marie Obame Ondo, la doyenne Rose Allogho Mengara et moi-même, d’interpeller et sensibiliser nos populations sur les enjeux des prochaines élections présidentielles ainsi que la nécessité de notre soutien à la candidature du président Ali Bongo Ondimba.
