Le séminaire international sur les maladies endémiques en Afrique aura belle et bien lieu à Yaoundé la capitale de la République Camerounaise du 23 juillet au 2 août 2023 comme annoncé par les responsables de l’ONG AMFES. Marie Avorbang Minko la Présidente de ladite ONG et le Dr. Gontran Nsi Akoue, Spécialiste en Ethnopharmacologie qui souhaitent que les évacuations sanitaires se fassent de plus en plus en Afrique, ont dit ne pas lésiner sur les moyens pour porter haut, cette requête lors des assises du Cameroun.
Cette grande rencontre qui réunira à la fois les spécialistes de la médecine moderne et les praticiens de la médecine traditionnelle a eu la bénédiction du réseau des parlementaires pour la promotion de la santé et de la valorisation de la médecine traditionnelle, en partenariat avec l’ONG AMFES, spécialisée dans l’assistance médicale dans les formalités d’évacuation sanitaire.
Ainsi, en prélude au séminaire international des maladies endémiques en Afrique, une autre rencontre aura lieu à Libreville précisément à l’Institut de pharmacopée et de médecine traditionnelle (Iphametra) « pour déterminer les principales problématiques devant être débattues lors des assises de Yaoundé; définir les formats et modèles d’intervention des panélistes; définir les finalités à reverser aux échanges et enfin, arrêter les conditions de participation des invités ».
À terme l’ONG AMFES est résolue à fédérer tous les experts africains et internationaux, ainsi que les partenaires économiques et politiques, « dans le but contribuer le manière significative à la mise en place des stratégies pouvant permettre d’éradiquer définitivement les maladies endémiques en Afrique », comme il a été expliqué pendant la conférence de presse.
