Le Ministre de la Santé et des Affaires Sociales, le Dr. Guy Patrick Obiang Ndong, a reçu en audience le mercredi 17 mai 2023, Son Excellence Li Jinjin, Ambassadeur de la République Populaire de Chine au Gabon.
Après les civilités d’usage, le Diplomate chinois a présenté au Dr. Guy Patrick Obiang Ndong, l’initiative «Warm Children’s Hearts : a China-Africa Joint action » que la Première Dame de Chine, Peng Liyuan lancera le 1er juin prochain conjointement avec l’Organisation des Premières Dames d’Afrique pour le développement (OPDAD), à l’occasion de la journée internationale des enfants, célébrée en chine.
A cet effet, l’Ambassade de Chine procèdera au lancement de la 24ème mission médicale chinoise au Gabon.
Aussi, la remise de plusieurs dons et des consultations médicales dans certains orphelinats et maisons d’accueil du Grand Libreville seront au programme.
Le Ministre ravi, s’est dit disponible et disposé à accompagner l’ambassade de Chine dans le déploiement de cette initiative. Il a de ce fait, invité les équipes de l’ambassade de Chine à visiter le Centre d’accueil pour enfants en difficulté sociale d’Angondjé (CAPDES).
Au terme de l’entrevue, ces personnalités se sont réjouies de l’excellence des relations entre les deux Chefs d’Etat, relations savamment entretenues par leurs Excellences, Ali Bongo Ondimba et Xi Jinping.
