C’est un important matériel présenté au public ce début de semaine à l’esplanade de l’Hôtel de Ville d’Oyem. Destiné à la collecte des déchets ménagers, il est composé des bacs à ordures roulants avec couvercles ; du matériel de nettoyage des espaces publics à savoir : des brouettes, pelles, râteaux et balais à fibres synthétiques. A cet arsenal, se sont ajoutés un compacteur ; une découpeuse et des pneus neufs pour un engin de marque Caterpilar, propriété de la Mairie sous cale depuis plusieurs mois pour défaut de roues ; et des équipements de protection pour le personnel en charge de l’entretien des voiries.
Cette acquisition va permettre à la commune, de lutter contre l’insalubrité, tout en veillant sur l’entretien des voies d’accès relevant de la compétence de la municipalité. Une manière pour le maire d’Oyem, de réaffirmer son ambition de mettre un accent particulier sur la salubrité de sa circonscription.
