Le Bâtonnier et les membres du Conseil de l’Ordre des avocats ont tour à tour été reçu par le Syndicat des Magistrats (SYNAMAG); le premier président de la Cour d’Appel Judiciaire de Libreville, le Procureur Général près la Cour de Cassation, la Cour des Comptes et le Tribunal Administratif.
Avec le Syndicat des Magistrats (SYNAMAG), la question de la grève actuelle au sein de cette entité a été abordée. Une revendication légitime qui paralyse le fonctionnement optimal des Juridictions du pays et ne crée aucune opportunité d’organisation d’audience solennelle de prestations de serments des postulants admis récemment au stage.
Face à cette situation qui n’arrange personne, le bureau du SYNAMAG sollicite l’aide du Bâtonnier afin de trouver des solutions auprès de différentes autorités. Naturellement, le Barreau par son Bâtonnier s’est dit disposé à se mettre à ouvrage aux côtés des Magistrats, en vue d’accélérer le processus de sortie de crise.
Dans cette même dynamique de mise en place de stratégies pour un appareil judiciaire efficient, le Barreau a sollicité la diligence du Premier Président de la Cour d’Appel Judiciaire de Libreville, en vue de régler les problèmes rencontrés en interne.
Des rencontres de travail qui ont permis d’exposer aux membres de la Haute Cour, les difficultés rencontrées au quotidien par les Avocats, à la quête de l’amélioration du service public de la justice et d’éventuelles possibilités de recyclage des personnels.
Le Barreau n’a pas manqué de souligner l’intérêt de voir la Cour des comptes s’impliquer dans la tenue de l’audience Solennelle de Prestation de serments des postulants inscrits au petit tableau pour l’admission en stage. Face à ces doléances, ladite Cour s’est engagée à apporter sa contribution dans la recherche des solutions appropriées pour une meilleure collaboration, dans l’intérêt de l’administration de la justice: un périple que le Barreau du Gabon compte poursuivre à travers d’autres juridictions.
Notons que le nouveau Bâtonnier élu le 6 janvier dernier à la « Maison de l’avocat » au cours d’une assemblée générale élective, pour un mandat de 2 ans renouvelable, avait indiqué vouloir se « battre » principalement, pour un barreau unit, sécurisé, formé, rayonnant.
