Le comité d’organisation toujours à pied d’œuvre, a dit continuer d’attendre un soutien multiforme des pouvoirs publics et des mécènes: « nous lançons un dernier appel aux institutions de la république, sinon, que les bienfaiteurs puissent se joindre à nous, pour la réussite de cet évènement culturel », a laissé entendre Rosny le Sage Souaga, le Président du FILIGA.
L’objectif principal de cette rencontre étant de favoriser la diversité culturelle, et de célébrer la créativité des auteurs gabonais et africains, ce festival verra la participation des écrivains; des conteurs; des promoteurs des Jeux de société instructifs et ludiques, domaines dans lesquels excellent de jeunes gabonais pétris de talents et soucieux de laisser un héritage aux générations futures.
Lors de cette conférence, les organisateurs ont souligné l’importance de valoriser la richesse culturelle du Gabon et de l’Afrique à travers la littérature et les arts. Ils ont affirmé leur volonté de créer un espace d’échange et de découverte, où les auteurs gabonais et africains pourront partager leurs histoires et leur vision du monde.
Il convient de signaler que le Festival international du livre gabonais se déroulera sur trois sites que sont l’Institut Français de Libreville; le Musée national et l’Institut Érudi. Cette semaine qui s’annonce ouvre une fenêtre spéciale au livre gabonais et ses auteurs: c’est donc un rendez-vous à ne pas manquer.
