A 24 heures du lancement des épreuves écrites du Baccalauréat c’est-à-dire le 19 août dernier, les Représentants de l’UNEG (Union Nationale des Etudiants du Gabon) et ceux du CNJG (Conseil National de la jeunesse du Gabon) étaient face au Ministre de l’Enseignement Supérieur et son délégué pour une séance de travail s’articulant en filigrane, sur la reprise des cours dans les universités, grandes écoles et Instituts du pays.
C’est par visioconférence qu’une importante séance de travail initiée par le Pr Patrick MOUNGUIAMA DAOUDA, le Ministre de l’Enseignement Supérieur, de la Recherche Scientifique, du Transfert des Technologies, de l’Education Nationale chargé de la Formation Civique a eu lieu dans les locaux dudit Ministère.
Elle aura duré deux heures d’horloge, vu l’importance des thématiques abordées d’ailleurs, Pedro OBAME le Secrétaire Général de l’UNEG précisera « cette réunion a permis d’analyser les questions mobilisatrices dans le domaine de l’éducation à l’heure actuelle, afin de prendre connaissance du travail abattu par la hiérarchie (Ministère), et de proposer à cette dernière des pistes de solutions pour certaines problématiques ».
Parmi les points qui ont particulièrement captivé, la reprise des cours dans les Universités, Grandes Ecoles et Instituts du pays. Ainsi, pour éviter des surprises désagréables le moment venu, une planification rigoureuse est impérative en vue d’assurer le bon déroulement des activités pédagogiques. A ce titre, « toutes les parties prenantes se sont accordées sur la nécessité de faire émerger les mesures idoines pour que l’étudiant gabonais reprenne les cours dans de bonnes conditions » affirmera Pedro OBAME.
La reprise des cours reste souhaitée par les étudiants certes, mais ces derniers tiennent à quelques préalables notamment, la mise en place d’un dispositif sanitaire dans les établissements d’enseignement supérieur ; le traitement de la question de la bourse ainsi que le suivi de l’orientation des futurs étudiants dès le secondaire pour ne citer que ces aspects.
Le traitement des préoccupations des étudiants se poursuivra probablement avec les propositions contenues dans un document détaillant l’essentiel des problèmes de la communauté estudiantine, document remis au Ministre de tutelle : l’UNEG le CNJG et l’ensemble des étudiants n’en demandent pas plus.
