Initiée par de l’ANFPG via le Fonds Gabonais des Footballeurs, les boutiques solidaires, cette banque alimentaire destinée à soutenir les sportifs gabonais en situation difficile en général et les Footballeurs anciens et ceux en activité en particulier, ont procédé au lancement de leurs activités. Objectif visé, permettre aux joueurs d’accéder aux produits de première nécessité et aux services de santé de base.
Tout serait parti d’un constat accablant : certains footballeurs locaux se retrouvent souvent dans une situation sociale assez difficile et ne peuvent par conséquent pas, donner le meilleur d’eux-mêmes lorsqu’ils sont en activité, ou pire, se retrouvent abandonnés à leur triste sort lorsqu’ils ne sont plus sur les stades. Pour leur redonner le sourire, Remi EBANEGA le Président de l’ANFPG (Association Nationale des footballeurs Professionnels du Gabon) a crée le concept de « boutiques solidaires ».
Pour bénéficier des services de cette organisation, il suffit juste d’être membre de l’ANFPG et être sans, ou à faibles revenus. Loin d’être la solution miracle pour résoudre les problèmes de ces sportifs, les kits alimentaires qui ont été remis ce 7 septembre à vingt joueurs tous sexes confondus, sont un signe de solidarité qui traduit la volonté des organisateurs, de les suivre dans leur parcours socioprofessionnel. L’ANFPG compte dans les deux prochaines années, accompagner 500 familles de footballeurs ; ce qui nécessite des dons venant des mécènes et toutes autre personne de bonne volonté. Ainsi, pour participer à l’aventure « en associant votre marque et image à une cause sociale noble : le sport, devenez donateur afin de soutenir des familles entières au regard du contexte social marqué par la pandémie de la Covid-19 », a proposé Remi EBANEGA. Les bénéficiaires ont dit leur gratitude à leurs bienfaiteurs pour cette grande marque de considération.
