A quelques jours de la rentrée des classes, les membres de la GSBA ou God’s Spirit Basket Ball Association présidée par Laurel LEMIGUY ont reçu un don essentiellement composé d’effets de base pour la rentrée scolaire. Un geste apprécié à juste titre par les bénéficiaires en tête desquels, le responsable de ces jeunes.
C’est au magnifique stade de basket-ball de Likouala le mercredi 4 novembre dernier, que les jeunes réunis au sein de la GSBA God’s Spirit Basket Ball Association, ont été visité par Ronald EKOGHA, le Responsable Marketing à Cowbell. L’homme est venu les mains chargées de cadeaux pour les enfants de ce club qu’il affectionne : un geste qui n’a pas laissé insensible, Laurel LEMIGUY, le Président qui a tenu à remercier le donateur : « nous tenons à dire merci à Cowbell parce qu’en cette période de pandémie, beaucoup de parents sont tellement asphyxiés ce qui fait que la rentrée scolaire est très difficile à amorcer et pour cette année, nous avons reçu le soutien de Cowbell sur une cinquantaine de kits. C’est vrai que depuis que nous existons nous faisons ce genre d’initiatives, il faut dire que cette année avec le soutien de Cowbell, l’apport est beaucoup plus conséquent et donc pour nous, c’est un sentiment de satisfaction ». Le donateur n’est pas à son premier geste, mais il a apprécié les circonstances de cette dotation, « Cowbell a pour habitude de soutenir les différentes associations avec lesquelles nous travaillerons et aujourd’hui avec le projet de ce jeune Gabonais, Cowbell a tenu à l’accompagner sur son projet de soutenir les familles démunies et qui nous a permis de les accompagner avec les différents kits que nous avons pu offrir à ces enfants, afin de pouvoir aider les différents parents représentés ici », précisera Ronald EKOGHA .
Des cartables, des gourdes, des trousses, des cahiers et des stylos ont ainsi gracieusement été offerts à ces élèves-sportifs, qui ont traduit leur reconnaissance à leur Club et au donateur.
