Le rôle de l’organisme Onusien est donc primordial dans ce projet car, « l’UNESCO apporte la caution internationale et assure non seulement la qualité du processus mais également des résultats : c’est à ce titre que chaque étape de l’élaboration de l’annuaire a été validé », a précisé Séraphine Memine-Me Zue, l’Administrateur du programme éducation à l’UNESCO.
Après les exposés, la phase interactive marquée par les questions envoyées par la communauté de parents d’élèves sur l’importance de la carte scolaire mieux, son rapport avec l’annuaire statistique : « La carte scolaire vient corriger les dysfonctionnements historiques pour une actualisation des données qui permet que nous rapprochons les établissements des habitants. Nous tenons compte de ce lien qui est important, l’évolution démographique, et le stock d’enfants scolarisables : nous devons corriger les distances », a répondu le Directeur Général de la Statistique du ministère de l’Éducation nationale.
