C’est ainsi que la dizaine d’ambulance se déploie à Libreville tout comme à l’intérieur du pays avec pour missions, de secourir les personnes en grandes difficultés sociales ; permettre aux populations en détresse psychologique d’avoir des consultations médico-psychologiques gratuites, héberger à titre temporaire (3 à 5 jours) des personnes en situation de grande exclusion sociale ; favoriser l’accès aux soins de santé des populations démunies ou parfois sédentarisés dans les médecines alternatives;
écouter et répertorier à travers le centre d’appel mis en place via le numéro court (1488) les problèmes graves auxquels sont confrontés les populations les plus vulnérables.
