Rencontre le 31 mars dernier entre le ministre gabonais de la Santé, Dr. Guy Patrick Obiang Ndong et Alphonse Waguena, le Représentant pour l’Afrique centrale de l’Organisation internationale de la Francophonie résidant à Libreville. Au cours de cet entretien, les deux personnalités ont parlé du Fonds « la Francophonie avec Elles » qui vise essentiellement, le financement des projets pouvant permettre d’amplifier les actions, œuvrant pour l’autonomisation de la gente féminine.
Alphonse Waguena, le Représentant pour l’Afrique Centrale de l’Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie, et le Dr Guy Patrick Obiang , le ministre de Santé ont devisé sur les relations entre les deux institutions, présentant le Fonds « la Francophonie avec Elles », dont le but est de financer des projets ayant pour objectif, l’amplification des actions des associations et ONG en faveur de l’autonomisation économique et sociale des femmes et des filles des pays membres ».
L’occasion a aussi été propice pour le diplomate, de féliciter les efforts du Gabon pour sa stratégie de riposte contre la covid-19 : « la République Gabonaise fait partie d’une short liste des meilleurs pays du continent ayant su faire face à cet ennemie invisible ».
La coopération entre les deux institutions incluant aussi la formation, les différentes opportunités de formation qu’offre l’Université Senghor d’Alexandrie en Egypte, dans les spécialités de la Nutrition et de la Santé publique, n’étaient pas en reste au menu des échanges.
