Le 30 mars au siège du RPG devant les représentants des partis membres de la « Dynamique pour la Transition Politique et Pacifique au Gabon » et les médias, Laurent Angue Mezui s’est voulu intransigeant, déplorant les malheurs qui accablent le Gabon et ses fils: « notre pays le Gabon est en deuil. Il vient de perdre innocemment et brutalement plusieurs de ses enfants qui se rendaient dans la ville de Port-Gentil soit pour les raisons de deuil, soit pour des raisons professionnelles ou encore de villégiature. Cette nuit là dans Esther Miracle, beaucoup d’entre-nous ici présents y avaient également des parents à bord ».
Ne cachant pas sa désapprobation,« plutôt que d’obtenir seulement la démission du ministre des Transports et de suspendre certains hauts cadres de cette administration, la D.T.P.P.G pense que c’est tout le gouvernement qui doit immédiatement rendre son tablier. Car les mesurettes prises jusqu’à ce jour ne sont pas de nature à baisser la tension auprès des populations. Cet immobilisme du gouvernement traduit la posture la plus risquée pour notre pays comme pour chaque gabonais », a expliqué Laurent Angue Mezui.
La dynamique pour la Transition Politique et Pacifique au Gabon (D.T.P.P.G ) « refuse la fatalité… Des compatriotes disent aujourd’hui ne plus rien à avoir avec la politique, ou encore, c’est un jeu de corrompus ». Notre devoir en tant que responsable politique c’est de leur proposer une alternative mais que celle-ci se fera avec le concours de tous sans exception, car l’actuel système est déjà essoufflé », a martelé Laurent Angue Mezui, le Président de cette plateforme.
Présent sur le terrain depuis 3 mois, la dynamique de la Transition Politique et Pacifique au Gabon parle des résultats visibles notamment: « le code de bonne conduite solennellement signé le 25 février 2023 au siège du rassemblement pour le Gabon; et la signature de la pétition auprès des états majors des partis politiques membres de la D.T.P.P.G ».
Cette pétition qui compte déjà 178 928 signatures est disponible en ligne. Pour les initiateurs, le bout du tunnel n’est plus loin: « Je rappelle à toute fin utile que le Président Ali Bongo a été déclaré vainqueur en 2016 avec près de 177 222 voix exprimées ». Rappelons que la récolte de signatures se poursuit sur l’ensemble du territoire national.
