Comme avec le Patronat et des confessions religieuses, le Président du Comité de Transition est revenu sur les circonstances de la mise en place du CTRI et de sa vision qui consiste à restaurer la dignité du peuple gabonais et l’image de la nation afin de doter le pays d’institutions fortes, et d’organiser rapidement des élections démocratiques, inclusives, apaisées et conformes à la volonté du peuple gabonais, rassurant ses interlocuteurs quant au processus de restauration entamé.
A l’endroit du corps diplomatique, le Général de Brigade a indiqué que le Gabon respectera l’ensemble de ses engagements vis-à-vis de ses partenaires nationaux et internationaux ainsi que l’ensemble des accords bilatéraux et multilatéraux qui vont dans le sens de l’essor du peuple gabonais.
Que les institutions de la République seront réorganisées afin d’en faire des outils plus démocratiques et en phase avec les normes internationales en matière de respect des droits humains et des libertés fondamentales , de l’État de droit et la lutte contre la corruption et le blanchiment des capitaux, et la préservation de l’environnement.
Le Général Oligui a par ailleurs sollicité l’appui des institutions financières pour le financement des infrastructures de base dans les secteurs prioritaires que sont la santé, l’éducation, l’emploi, ainsi que la diversification de notre économie.
Enfin, le Président de la transition a invité la classe politique et la société civile à participer pleinement à la construction des institutions fortes notamment une constitution solide et un code électoral qui vont dans le sens des aspirations du peuple gabonais.
