A ce titre d’ailleurs, le Pr. Albert Ondo Ossa suggère de ne pas « boycotter les élections… d’où mon appel aux gabonais pour des inscriptions massives sur les listes électorales ». Au sujet de la candidature unique de l’opposition, il a été intraitable en ces termes: « ne pas céder aux demandes de ceux qui proposent la candidature unique car la candidature unique n’est pas une panacée ».

Tous les partisans du changement sont invités à y contribuer, chacun, à concurrence de ses moyen »; un compte a d’ailleurs déjà été ouvert à cet effet.
